Before Iber opens up more widely, we want to sit in a room with the people it is built for. So we are running a small, in-person beta day in Bengaluru — about twenty builders, one afternoon, no slides. You use the app, we watch what breaks, and you leave with a demo video and a profile ready for Wave 1.
Here is everything you need to know.
The details
- When: Sunday, 6 September 2026, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM IST.
- Where: in-person, Bengaluru. The exact venue is emailed to registered attendees.
- Who: around 20 builders — students, freshers, and early-career developers who have built something real.
- Cost: free. Snacks are on us.
What actually happens
1. You try the app before anyone else
You will get early access to Iber on your phone, connect your GitHub, and go through the real flow: verify a project, post a demo, see how a company would see you. This is the unpolished version, and that is the point — we want to see where you get stuck, not where we think you get stuck.
2. You record a demo, with help
Most builders never record a project demo because it feels awkward to start. On the day, we will help you script and record your 60-second demo on the spot: what problem it solves, the one flow that matters, the one hard decision you made. Bring a laptop with a project that runs, or a phone with an app that opens, and you walk out with a finished video.
3. You tell us what to fix
The middle of the afternoon is a feedback session. What felt confusing? What would make you trust a hiring platform that never asks for a resume? What would make you stop using it? We take notes, and the honest, uncomfortable answers are the most useful ones.
4. You meet other builders — and the people who hire them
Everyone in the room got in because they build things. That is a better networking filter than any conference badge. A few founders and hiring managers we are working with have been invited too, so bring the project you are proudest of and be ready to explain it in ninety seconds.
Who should come
You are a good fit if at least one of these is true:
- You have built and shipped something — a web app, a mobile app, a CLI, a bot — that a stranger could open and use.
- Your GitHub has real commit history, even if it is not pretty.
- You are hunting for your first or second developer role and are tired of resume black holes.
- You are curious about how proof-of-work hiring works from the inside and want to shape it.
You do not need a brand-name college, a CGPA, or a certificate. You need work you can show. If that sounds like you, you will be among your people.

What to bring
- A laptop or phone with your project running (a deployed link is ideal).
- Your GitHub login — we verify projects at the source.
- Earphones with a mic if you want a cleaner demo recording.
- An honest opinion. That is the main thing we are collecting.
