Iber ("we", "us") is a hiring platform where builders get hired for what they build. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We've kept it short on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, email address, and WhatsApp number when you apply for a wave or contact us.
• GitHub data — your public GitHub profile link when you apply; if you later connect GitHub via OAuth in the Iber app, the profile and repository data needed to verify your work.
• Video uploads — demo videos and interview recordings you submit through the Iber platform.
• Usage data — basic analytics about how the site and app are used.

How we use it

• Verification — confirming that the work on your profile is genuinely yours.
• Matching — presenting your verified profile, demos, and interview results to companies hiring on Iber.
• Communication — contacting you about your application, wave selection, and product updates.

We don't sell your personal data.

Third parties we rely on

• Supabase — database and authentication (stores application and account data).
• Mux — video hosting and streaming for demos and recordings.
• Meta ads pixel — measures whether our ads bring visitors to this site.
• Vercel — hosts this website.

Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

Your rights

Your data is yours. Email us and we will delete your data on request — application, profile, videos, all of it. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or correct anything that's wrong.
